Polish up those improvisation skills if you’re getting called in to audition on camera. It’s quite common to be asked an impromptu question after you announce your name into the camera, along with any other information they request.

Obviously the key to succeeding at improv is to take any question in stride, from ‘What’s your favourite ice cream and why?’ to ‘What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you?’ It’s acceptable to take a moment to consider your response, but your answer should then be delivered with confidence and hopefully some measure of originality.
