Party Diddy StyleWho is your style icon?   Some of you may be a throwback to the gentleman, the modern Carey Grant while others may emulate a more streetwear-wise hip-hop mogul, in the likes of P. Diddy or Russell Simmons.  Then there are those that identify with the bad boy or the outsider rebel, made famous by James Dean or more recently Twilight’s Robert Pattinson.

Inspiration can stem from various places and using celebrities as a resource is completely fine.   Most celebrities have a stylist to dictate what they wear and how they wear it and thus, because so, looking to celebrities- in a way- is looking to the experts themselves.

So bring on the copycats and the mimics.  Remember, though, to make sure that you never lose yourself in your attempts to imitate your style icon.  Keep in mind to always incorporate your own unique spin into the mix.  Whether it’s a piece of statement jewellery that never leaves your body or a favourite scarf, it’s important to bring in something that is individual to your personality.  That, my friends, is true style.
